Description
The PN25F08 is a 8M-bit (1M-byte) Serial Flash memory, with advanced write protection mechanisms. The PN25F08 supports the standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI). The Device can be programmed 1 to 256 bytes at a time, using the Page Program instruction. It is designed to allow either single Sector/Block at a time or full chip erase operation. The PN25F08 can be configured to protect part of the memory as the software protected mode. The device can sustain a minimum of 100K program/erase cycles on each sector or block.

The chip select signal indicates when a instruction for the device is in process and the other signals are relevant for the memory device. When the /CS signal is at the logic high state, the device is not selected and all input signals are ignored and all output signals are high impedance.
